Athlete Seasonal Membership (15 March - 11 August) is $34.50.
Send electronically (via Team Manager) or on the form (don't use any forms you may have - get new ones from Louise).
This membership option is only good for meets below the level of Zone Championships.

USA Swimming's "Next Big Idea"

USA Swimming is looking for your help to find the next “Big Idea” for the future of the organization and the sport; Swimnetwork.com will serve as the forum for comments, voting and the opportunity to submit your ideas.  Past “Big Ideas” include the creation of the Golden Goggle Awards, Duel in the Pool, the Club Development Division, Make a Splash, and more!  What’s the next “Big Idea” for the sport?  USA Swimming wants your input.  Please comment on Swimnetwork.com with why you like or don’t like the ideas, or things you might change to make it better.  Also, you can vote in the poll on the right of the screen.  The ideas are grouped by USA Swimming’s core objectives of Build, Promote and Achieve.

USA Swimming Announces 2010 Club Excellence Results

Select Camp Participants
10 Virginia Swimming athletes earned a spot to the Eastern Zone Select Camp in Pennsylvania in May:

Remedy Rule (SMAC) - IMX, Madison Boswell (PSDN) - IMX, Brett Barden (NOVA) - IMX, Lucas Alvarez (CGBD) - IMX, Anthony Zoldork (VACS) - IMX, Cameron Johnston (QSTS) - IMX, Taylor Copeland (NOVA) - 100 BK, Garrett Lynn (SEVA) - 100 FL, Thomas Ferguson (PSDN) - 200 FL, and William Nicely (QSTS) - 400 IM

Virginia Swimming placed the most swimmers on the list of 56 selectees.  Read more about this honor.

Virginia Swimming will provide some reimbursement for camp participants.  Reimbursement forms will be mailed to the athletes in May.
