Business Office News
Effective immediately, in accordance with revised USA Swimming Privacy Policy, Meet Manager Backup Files and CommLink files will no longer be posted on our website.  Host Clubs must now provide the MM Backup file and the Meet Results file to all participating teams and the Business Office (backup only) within 24 hours of completion of the meet.  We will be revising our policies and cleaning up the website shortly.  Clubs who need backup files from this SC season's meets should request a copy from the Business OfficeQuestions / Comments should be addressed to the Business Office.

Effective 1 February 2012, in order to ensure equitable access and accurate information, all Meet Announcements for our sanctioned/approved meets will be released via our website (Meet Schedule) and will no longer be distributed to participating teams by the Host Club.



New LSC Record
1 relay
Virginia Swimming record was broken at the RSA January Jubilee:

GATR Girls (O. Bray, W. Hamilton, C. Summerlin, C. Kulp) broke the LSC LCY Record in the 10&Y 400 Freestyle Relay with a time of 4:43.55, which bested the previous record, 4:51.88, set by TPHN in 2005.

USA Swimming Diversity Select Camp
36 swimmers (age 14-16) will be selected to attend the National Diversity Select Camp 3-6 May in Colorado Springs, CO.  Swimmers must meet the qualifying time standards for the camp and represent an ethnically underrepresented population that is less than 10% of the current USA Swimming membership.  The fastest male and fastest female in each Olympic event will be selected.  Additionally, three swimmers of each gender will be selected based on IMX scores while two additional males and females will be selected based on outstanding performance.

The 3-day camp program will include a combination of pool training, motivational and education sessions, and team building activities. Personal coaches of the swimmers are also invited and encouraged to attend.
