USA Swimming/Virginia
Swimming-certified officials,
in good standing, may officiate any regular season VHSL Swimming Meet by
virtue of their USA Swimming certification (you can get a
rule book from
David Strider for $8, send your mailing address and
check made out to "VHSL" to 2005 Ridgetop Drive,
Charlottesville, VA 22903). You are a
recognized VHSL Official, but not covered by insurance.
In order to work VHSL championship meets (district, region,
and state) or judge diving, you must be a certified VHSL official
(register, pay $40, complete the online clinic, and pass the online test).
For questions/more
information, contact
David Strider.

In order to keep CSOA
information current, all members must re-register
annually.
The registration process is made up of three parts.
- The first part is to enter personal information
necessary to communicate with you.
- The second part has to do with testing. The level of
testing required for CSOA is determined by your answers
to questions about officiating certifications.
- The third part is to determine your membership fee and
the need for a Rule Book. The NCAA will be publishing a
Rule Book this year for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
